The Legacy Center is
the center of the Legacy Project's activities – physically and metaphorically. Not everyone will be able to visit the real-world site. So we want to bring the site to you through a variety of online experiences for children, teens, young and older adults, parents, and teachers.
Follow the building design process through our online postings; find out what's blooming in the arboretum through the images of several well-known nature photographers; explore 3-D online models of parts of the real building and arboretum; participate in online workshops; interact with others who are part of the Legacy Project's online learning community; and explore the free online family activities and school lesson ideas.
As a start to our online experiences, we have the TreeKeepers Club. TreeKeepers is a powerful, effective way for children and teens to get more connected with the natural world through the Legacy Center arboretum, and learn about environmental issues while building important literacy, science, social studies, and life skills.
Keep up-to-date on what's happening through our
e-mail newsletter.
