SIMPLEST DREAM STARS

A very simple paper star for children under 5 years

"Twinkle, twinkle little star. How I wonder what you are." Young children can color in their own
Dream Star and make a wish.

For children between about 5 and 8 years, try the Simple Dream Stars. Children 8 years and older can make origami Dream Stars. All the stars can be used to participate in the World Dream Chest.

Use crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color the Dream Star coloring page. The coloring page is based on the seven-pointed starburst on the front cover of Dream. The cover is actually a close-up of the seven-pointed carved star on the Dream Chest at the end of the rainbow on the book's title page.

After coloring their Dream Star, children can cut it out or, with the help of an adult, complete the phrase "My wish is..."

Display the stars on the wall. If you cut them out, chain them together to decorate a room. Some of the ideas for the origami Dream Star can also be adapted for this star.
