YOUR DREAM CHEST

What would you put into your very own Dream Chest?

The story in Dream begins at the end of the rainbow with the Dream Chest, a magical portal between "what is" and "what can be." The cover of the book is a close-up of the front of the chest, so opening the book is like opening your very own chest of dreams and going on a colorful journey of a lifetime -- your lifetime.

Make a real Dream Chest for yourself. It doesn't matter how old you are -- because you're never too young or too old to dream!

Start by getting a small chest or box. If you're using a cardboard box, use paint, paper, and other art materials to decorate it in some way that reflects your personality and who you are.

Over time, as you look through magazines and newspapers, clip out articles, images, cartoons, etc. that inspire you, interest you, and relate to the dreams and goals you have for yourself. Include stories about people who are heroes or role models for you.

This is a simple activity, but a powerful one. Visit your Dream Chest when you need inspiration or are doing goal setting. It will help you identify and stay focused on who you are and what's important to you.
