Create your life, connect with others, change the world. By getting involved with the Legacy Project,
your ME becomes a bigger WE.
What the Legacy Project does could transform your life and our world – if we grow the idea together. It's big stuff, but we're facing big challenges.
We're struggling to live sustainably with our environment and peacefully with each other. We have too much information and not enough knowledge, let alone wisdom. Seven billion people, many of whom are living longer than ever before in history, are trying to find their way. Research shows more people are feeling empty and alone despite more opportunities, material goods, and the world at our fingertips through technology.
We need to move toward a bigger story to prompt bigger, better thinking. To find out more about why the Legacy Project does what we do, read Our Story.
The Legacy Project is the only international, multigenerational, big-picture learning project. We're all about the big picture: your life in the context of the people and world around you, bringing together past, present, and future.
The Legacy Project enhances the learning children and teens experience in school, and offers lifelong learning opportunities for adults and elders. Learning is the means through which we fulfill our greatest potential and leave a meaningful legacy for generations to come. Lifelong learning that explores the bigger picture will foster more real solutions, inventions, discoveries – and more hope.
So, get involved and grow a big idea with us. You can start by using and sharing the Legacy Project's ideas. We put a lot of work into providing you with a high-quality website at www.legacyproject.org that has lots of free, thought-provoking, useful content. We're always adding new content and new ways to grow. Use our online resources and our books. Explore our Programs and Community Initiatives.
We also need your tangible support. Our goal is to keep the Legacy Project independent, to keep our website resources free, and not to post commercial ads on our website. We want you to enjoy your visit to our website and we want to keep the communication as genuine as possible. We want to give you our best. That's what we value. And you receive direct benefits from the investments you choose to make in the Legacy Project – whether it's your time, money, or a part of who you are. You receive quality content, innovative ideas, and practical solutions to create and celebrate the best of who you are, connect with others in a meaningful way, and take effective steps to changing our world for the better. In every way you participate in the Legacy Project, you learn something and grow. That's the essence of living.
Since the Legacy Project is all about legacy to the power of three, there are three tangible ways you can support our work:
1. Use Your Buying Power
We all vote with our dollars every day. We tell stores and manufacturers what we value every time we purchase a product or service.
The most basic way you can support the Legacy Project is by purchasing our books and other resources, either in bookstores or online. For example, Dream and A Little Something are inspiring gifts for family and friends, and powerful educational resources. You can also purchase copies to donate to your local school or a community group (e.g. Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Camp Fire).
Proceeds from book sales go toward making all of the Legacy Project's programs and free online resources possible.
2. Share What Matters
Post an Un-Ad or a Life Statement to share who you are and what matters to you.
Join the Legacy Project in an Un-Ad Revolution. It's a little tongue-in-cheek and a little rebellious. It's your chance to take a stand about what really matters to you by posting your own un-ad for $5. What if the world were filled with ideas and values rather than ads?
And what if your life story could change the world? The real measure of our lives is in what we learn from our life experiences, the ideas we bring into the world, the values we live by, and our hopes for the future. A Life Statement is an opportunity to share who you are at your core. Your Life Statement will mean something to you and your family – a blueprint for living and a meaningful gift to next generations. Your contribution also becomes a permanent part of the Life Statement Library and a living part of the Legacy Project's ongoing learning community reaching millions around the globe. Your life can make a difference.

3. Become a Partner or Supporter
The Legacy Project is currently fundraising to complete development of the Legacy Center and expand our programs.
We have our Buy It Big fundraising campaign. Please pass the word along through social media!

Legacy to the power of three… These are the ways you can get involved with the Legacy Project, a big-picture learning project. Learning opens minds and opportunities. And we need to learn a new, bigger story to prompt bigger, better thinking as we face individual and global challenges. The Legacy Project has big ideas, and we need your help to grow them. We invite you to get involved with "a group of thoughtful, committed citizens [who] can change the world." Create, connect, change with the Legacy Project at www.legacyproject.org.
